A Day In Black and White are a band from Washington, DC who began in 2001. They have released two albums, My Heroes Have Always Killed Cowboys and Notes. They have been called post-punk, post-hardcore, experimental rock and post-emo. They have also been compared to Fugazi and Sonic Youth. Their second album Notes is considered to be different from their first effort and dramatically less intense.
