1000 Plane Raid

1000 Plane Raid was founded by 4 friends at Heritage High School who all played an instrument and had a common passion for music and metal. These 4 were John Robert Whittington, Ben Ford, Brad Rosson, and Aubrey Upton. The band started out as a more hard rock band, and over the years slowly grew into something heavier and more melodic. The band performed at a few different venues and John Robert called it quits in late 2010, leaving room for the new and current vocalist, Kaleb Carringer. Over time many members would come and go. Brad Rosson being the last original member left, kept the band going even though times were tough. Throughout most of 2012, 1000 Plane Raid stayed in hiding waiting for the right musicians to show up. As soon as August hit, everything changed. Brad began talking to Steve-o Sperling who decided to come back and play guitar for the band. Brandon Proffitt who also plays guitar for local death metal band Exsected, found 1000 Plane Raid through Steve-o and also joined in. Kaleb brought a fellow musician by the name of Ragan Young, who decided to hop on bass guitar, and the group eventually ran into Justin Thomas, who completed our lineup by taking the title of lead guitarist. Now the band has a full solid lineup, consisting of musicians with superb talent, the likes the band has never had before. With Kaleb and his inhuman vocals, Justin's virtuoso 8 string guitar talent, Steve-o and Brandon's solid rhythmic patterns and shreddage, Ragan's technical bass grooves, and Brad's complex, earth shattering poly rhythms, the band will become more active than ever before and produce melodic deathcore that is original and will leave the audience wanting more. « hide
