Hecate Enthroned is a melodic black metal band from the UK formed in 1993. They were often compared to fellow countrymen Cradle of Filth. They were accused of copying their style, mostly vocals wise, in their earlier albums but this is not surprising due to the fact that Jon Richard, one of Cradle Of Filth's many ex-bass players, was the vocalist on their first three albums.
