Lååz Rockit is an American heavy/speed/thrash metal band from Oakland, California. Formed in 1982, their early material featured a somewhat glam/hard rock influenced traditional metal sound, gradually shifting to a more USPM/speed/thrash style throughout their career. Initially disbanding in 1992, some members would form the groove/thrash band Gack. Lååz Rockit reformed in 2005 with the original lineup and released a new studio album in 2008, though their current status is unknown.
