Schleyer (guitar), they formed Zeromancer in 1999.
Seigmen was, at their peak, a phenomenal live band. They created music, atmospheres and live shows as no other Norwegianband had done before
them. Seigmen was clearly inspired by bands like Tool, and as their sound progressed their influencefrom Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode was
significant. Their last album, Radiowaves, was far more in the NIN and DM alleythan the ones before. This was what changed Seigmen, which
eventually led to the ending of a memorable time and the riseof Zeromancer.
Zeromancer started immideatly to travel worldwide unlike Seigmen, and was seeking a greater fanbase beyond the borders ofNorway. Seigmen's
lyrics were all Norwegian until Radiowaves, but their dream to succeed 'outside' led them to change thewriting of lyrics into English, making a lot of
fans furious. Zeromancer though, have gained a lot of fans in both USA andGermany.
The current Lineup is Alex Møklebust (vocals), Kim Ljung (bass guitar/backup vocals), Noralf Ronthi (drums) Lorry Kristiansen(programming) and Dan
Heide (lead guitar). They have released six studio albums to date: Clone Your Lover (2000), Eurotrash(2001), Zzyzx (2003), Sinners International
(2009), The Death of Romance (2010) and Bye-Bye Borderline (2013). « hide |
