Sunset Rubdown was started as a side-project for Wolf Parade co-singer Spencer Krug. The first release, Snake's Got A Leg, was a solo recording made in his apartment. Quickly after that release Sunset Rubdown was fleshed out with the inclusion of Jordan Robson Cramer, Michael Doerksen, Camilla Wynne Ingr. They released Shut Up I Am Dreaming and a self-titled EP in the spring of 2006 to much acclaim.
