Formed as a melodic hardcore band in North Carolina in 1995, codeseven released two albums before
shifting gears and moving in a less aggressive, more melodic direction. All but abandoning their
hardcore roots, codeseven experimented with space rock and prog fused with alternative rock before
disbanding in 2005.
