Bleeding Oath are an English 4 piece metal band formed in London in 2009. After a series of lineup changes in the early months,
the group settled ona lineup of Robin Haigh (vocals, guitar), Micah Douglas (guitar), Harrison White (drums) and Ben Janes
(bass). The band have developed a reputationon various social networking sites, particularly Facebook, for their irreverent and

Bleeding Oath are an English 4 piece metal band formed in London in 2009. After a series of lineup changes in the early months,
the group settled ona lineup of Robin Haigh (vocals, guitar), Micah Douglas (guitar), Harrison White (drums) and Ben Janes
(bass). The band have developed a reputationon various social networking sites, particularly Facebook, for their irreverent and
often self deprecating attitude, as well as for their vast internetcampaigns, including the successful "Vote Oath" campaign
where they opened for thrash band Evile at the Camden Underworld in February2011.
In early 2011, Ben Janes left the group and was replaced by Matt "Moat" Lowe, while they fell short of winning a place at the
summer's BloodstockOpen Air Festival. In late 2011 the band began work on their début self-titled EP, and were voted by
Terrorizer Magazine as the "Best Unsigned Band"of 2011. The band has also begun a campaign to have as many noted metal
acts to tell Bleeding Oath to "fuck off" as they can, and as of February2012 includes members of acts such as Opeth,
Katatonia, Xerath, letlive. andDragonForce. On the February 24 Metal Hammer Podcast, Stephen Hill
and Merlin Alderslade premièred the song "Mountains" from BleedingOath's self-titled EP, to a positive reception from listeners. « hide |
