Urban Vitamin seethed into existence in 2008. The corridors of the band’s history are contrived and many heads have

Wahlberg’. One year, scores of gigs and 2000 album downloads later, the music video for ‘Girls’ – UV’s party anthem –
premiered on MK’s Ondergrond.
The following 18 months saw the band blaze some of Gauteng’s biggest metal stages: Season Wither, Polarity Fest,
theZeplinsNew Year’s Party, and many more. In addition to the television success of ‘Girls’, the song regularly flooded the
cars andhomesof PukFM and TuksFM listeners.
Urban Vitamin released an EP "Agent Provocateur" in 2013, taking a noticeable change in overall sound and direction. A behind
the scenes video for the single "Sirens" was released in February 2013. The band shot a music video for "Philistine" in April
