Maylene and the Sons of Disaster is a Christian southern rock/hardcore band. They formed in 2004 in Birmingham, Alabama
and begin touring thesouthern U.S.. In 2005 Maylene andThe Sons of Disaster signed to Mono Vs Stereo and released their

Dallas Taylor is the most notable member of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. He was the original vocalist for the
metalcore/post-hardcore bandUnderoath but was "asked to leave" theband in late 2003.

In April 2006 it was announced that the band has signed to Ferret Records. In August 2006 the band hinted they would be
working on their FerretRecords debut in October and that itwould be out in Early 2007. Dallas Taylor updated fans once again
in January 2007 and said they would be releasing a digital EP called The Day Hell BrokeLoose At Sicard Hollow, followedby
their full length II.
Maylene and the Sons of Disaster "II" was released on Ferret Records on March 20, 2007 nationwide. Maylene appeared on
the cover of the March/April2007 issue of HM Magazine.[1]
In May, the band will be featured on the "Dirty South Tour" with Underoath, Norma Jean, and The Glass Ocean. This is worth
noting because this is thefirst time vocalist Dallas Taylorhas toured with his old band since he was asked to leave in 2003.
