The Bridgeheads

The Bridgeheads is a London-based alternative band, formed in 2007, originating from Slovakia (Central Europe), although they described themselves as “expressionism”. The line-up consists of Tomas dAsK (vocals, guitar, piano, songwriting), Joseph Lemee (guitar, piano) and Michal Wisp (drums). Their organic sound is a mix of rich guitar textures, variations in dynamics and complexity of drumming, with additional piano, percussions, synthesizers, and other occasional instruments, such as an autoharp, harmonique, bell and xylophone, woven together with a wide range of vocals, including falsetto. The line-up does not include bass guitar, what has been replaced by dAsK’s specific octave guitar playing without A-string, which is a unique way of playing in the history of music.
