Excessive touring follows, and Hatebreed play tourstogether with Slayer, and play the Ozzfest. The band gets more famous and recognised, and change to the major Universal. The album"Perseverance" (2002) smashes all fears of the fans in the ground, the band would make ammends to the mainstream and get softer. Songs andlyrics are as hard as before. Not much more than a year later, "The Rise of Brutality is released". Lou Richards and Rigg Ross left the bandsortly after "Persaverance". No second guitarist is (officially) present, Matt Byrne took the place behind the drums. « hide
