Plus/Minus is an indie rock/electronica band that formed out of the band Versus. Originally, it was a side project for James Baluyut to experiment with different time signatures and drum machines. Shortly after the release of the first album, he was joined by fellow ex-Versus member Patrick Ramos as well as drummer Chris Deaner. Margaret McCartney also joined the band playing bass, but has since left in 2002. The band has not replaced her since, and tour with a stand in bassplayer.
