A Polish hard rock band formed in 1987 in Radom, their first successful album came in 1991 (Mój Dom). After a good follow up (1993's 1993), the band decided to incorporate heavier elements into their music, and 1994's Znamię alienated many fans. In a desperate attempt to get their old recognition back, the band tried to re-grasp their previous style with Ogrody (1996), soon afterwards Kuba Płucisz (the founding guitarist and main songwriter) quit the band and not long afterwards IRA was broken up. The band returned (Płucisz-less) with 2002's Tu I Teraz and has been around since then, playing a somewhat poppier take on hard rock and releasing two more studio albums to date.
