Au is the moniker of the Portland experimentalist Luke Wyland. A multi-instrumentalist and classically trained pianist, Wyland, together with Dana Valatka and an ever-changing roster of musicians creates a musical amalgam which bears elements from classical music to indie pop. Captivating and fresh, the duo's sound can be described as spiraling and thunderous.
