Toehider is the solo project of Template frontman Michael Mills, whose multi-instrumental abilities enable him to record most of the Toehider
material on his own. While performing live (and sometimes in the studio as well), the band consists of Amy Campbell (bass and backing vocals),
Lachlan Barclay (guitar and backing vocals) and Mike Solo (drums). The music itself can mostly be classified as progressive or alternative rock,

The "Twelve EPs in Twelve Months" project may best represent this mix of genres, as each EP focuses on a different one, be it "Metaltarsus"
that features mostly metal (pardon the pun), "Never Mind the Hallux" that emphasizes punk rock, "9" which varies from electronic to ambient
music, or others.
