Eraldo Bernocchi is an Italian guitarist, producer, arranger, sound designer, and experimentalist. He's recorded for many labels, and collaborated with dozens of artists. His eclectic and unpredictable output resulted in drum'n'bass (1997's Overload Lady, with Mick Harris), chaotic free jazz (1999's Charged, with Bill Laswell and Toshinori Kondo), experimental dub-techno (2007's Manual, with Thomas Fehlmann), warm ambience (Music for Fragments from the Inside, with Harold Budd), and 2011's Winter Garden with (Budd and Robin Guthrie). Since 2008, Bernocchi and Giacomo Bruzzo have run the avant label RareNoise Records. 2017's Invisible Strings was recorded in collaboration with Prakash Sontakke, and followed by 2018's icy Like a Fire That Consumes All Before It. In 2020 he and K.K. Null released Superradiance. In 2025, Bernocchi issued Nocturnal Rainforest with Merzbow and ex-Sepultura guitarist Igor Cavalera, and the ambient drone album Fade, Remain with ILUITEQ. « hide |
