demo was released in 1989. This pioneerband's 's debut
full-length album, His Majesty at the Swamp (released in
August 1993 by Cyber Music) is surely one of the
greatest Greek BlackMetal albums ever and in fact one
of the cornerstones of the Hellenic black metal scene.
Like Rotting Christ and Necromantia, Varathron
isregarded as one of the pioneer's of the fertile Greek
black metal scene with a remarkable body of works.
