Lacuna Coil's music is inspired by gothic imagery, using melodic guitar lines, alternating heavy and light vocals, and a bit of popinfluence. Theybegan with a very doom metal feel to them on their first 3 releases before they priogressed into moremainstream gothic. Their 2016 album 'Delirium' has been praised as a return to form.
