The current lineup is a bit different now than when the band started. Gwen Stacy was formed by Brent Schindler and T.J. Sego along with previous members, Chris Suter and Josh Rickard. Chris Suter was vocalist and played the guitar; and Josh Rickard played guitar. Six months after the band formed, Cole Wallace joined the band as lead vocalist coming from a band called The House Effect. Chris Suter began to sing back up vocals and play guitar. A month later, Suter left the band completely; and Patrick Meadows took the second guitar spot. When Josh Rickard left in 2006, Mike Bryant became the second guitarist. Mike Bryant parted ways with Gwen Stacy in 2007. This left the band as a four piece band for a few months. Bobby Oakley joined the band and played guitar during The Life in your Way tour and half of the Emarosa tour. Josh Rickard then joined the band as a fill-in for the first half of the Vs. Tour. Bobby Oakley is once again the second guitarist.
