Formed by ex-Beatle Paul McCartney and wife Linda, Wings featured a revolving-door assortment of backing musicians with Paul at the centre. They became rock radio stalwarts in the 70s, especially in 1976 with the release of Wings at the Speed of Sound and the single 'Silly Love Songs'.
