Indie rock band, We Are Scientists based in New York consists of Keith Murray (lead vocalist and guitarist), and Chris Cain (bassist and back up vocals). It is currently just the duo, although for their most recent tour, a four day tour in the Northeast which they titled, 'The Big Fuckin' Deal Tour,' Danny Allen, drummer from the Australian band Youth Group filled in for the band. Although in their interview with indiescreet music blog they told that they weren't exactly looking for a permanent drummer at the moment.

The band does live up to their name, We Are Scientists, seeing that both Keith and Chris majored in the sciences in college.

They are also releasing a new album in May 2010, titled 'Barbara.'
