The Planet Smashers, who are five-piece assembly that formed in Montreal, have established themselves as descendants of the Ska genre; playing the third wave Ska variety. Their mixture of intense Ska riffs, engaging horn action, and strong vocal punches make them one of Ska's best. Soon after lighting up the locals with their early releases and shows, they turned down an offer from a major label to pursue their dream through the low-key, independent road that was STOMP records.
