The Happy Fits are an indie rock band formed in 2016 by high school classmates Calvin Langman (lead vocals and cello) and Ross Monteith (guitar) in Pittstown, New Jersey. Shortly before recording their debut EP, Awfully Apeelin' (2016), they added drummer Luke Davis. After gaining unexpected viral success on Spotify, all three members dropped out of college in 2017 to pursue the band full-time. They subsequently released several full-length albums: Concentrate (2018), What Could Be Better (2020), and Under the Shade of Green (2022). In January 2024, founding member Ross Monteith departed the band, and touring musicians Nico Rose and Raina Mullen joined as official full members. The new line-up recorded and released Lovesick in 2025.
