The Münchener Kammerorchester (aka, Munich Chamber Orchestra) is one most respected chamber orchestras in Europe. It was founded in
1950 by Christoph Stepp and today consists of 26 players, conducted by Alexander Liebreich. They are best known for their interpretations of
modern, avant-garde composers like Giacinto Scelsi, Sofia Gubaidulina and Iannis Xenakis.
