After The Ramones break up, Joey set on his own solo career. Althought most of the time after the Ramones breakup he avoided the spotlight. He recorded his only solo album, Don't Worry About Me right before his death in 2001, and released it in 2002. He also toured after the album, doing a few final shows before he finally passed.
