Formed in 1987 in Switzerland, Infected were a short lived band that released one excellent thrash album Dark Century in 1989 under Far Out Records before disbanding the following year. The lineup (at the time) was Theo Hilfiker on bass, Steve Karrer on drums, Freddy Tschui on guitars, and Amos Gersmann on vocals. They were a relatively unknown group and failed to make any real impact on the genre during their brief history.
