Mixing the death/thrash intensity of Sadus with the technical flair of Mrobid Angel and Atheist, Hellwitch stood apart from their death metal contemporaries. The band played thrashing death metal with a suffocating atmosphere that included deranged vocals and insane guitar/bass work, all supported by tight and relentless drumming.
