Goatsnake was formed after the Obsessed disbanded in 1996. So, the bassist Guy Pinhas and drummer Greg Rogers. formerly of TheObsessed, started jamming with Greg Anderson (Thorr's Hammer, Burning Witch, Sunn 0)))). Eventually, vocalist Peter Stahl steppedin to make the line up complete. Goatsnake comes and goes, the last time they released an album was 2004 Trampled Under Hoofwith Scott Reeder on bass and JR from Cave In on drums.
