After Pete Doherty left The Libertines to form Babyshambles, The Libertines simply fell apart from there - and while John Hassall left to join Yeti, Carl Barat and Gary Powell stayed together and formed Dirty Pretty Things, along with bassist Didz Hammond and guitarist Anthony Rossamando near the end of 2005.
While Babyshambles seem to gain most of their press from Doherty's antics, Dirty Pretty Things have declared that they are all about the music - their explosive live shows and beautifully written songs prove this theory correct. Recently released was the "Bang Bang You're Dead" on April 24, followed by the album "Waterloo to Anywhere" on May 8.
