Dive is one of two spin-offs from Beach Fossils, one of Brooklyn's preeminent lazy-Sunday guitar bands. While Fossils bassist JohnPena's Heavenly Beat sounds low-key and tailor-made for cocktail hour, Dive, led by guitarist Zachary Cole Smith, is decidedly more guitar-driven.

"DIVE", the word, was an element ofwhat inspired the project in its genesis, but we've outgrown the name and its associations.
