City Sleeps, formed in 2005, started their career out by touring nationally before even being signed and were soon contacted by
producer John Feldmann, asking to work with them. They hadn't even secured a label when they began to prepare their debut
album, Not An Angel. On September 5th, 2008 their lead singer Elliot Sharp announced his departure from City Sleeps on
bad terms. It was speculated that they had disbanded in 2010 after no word or updates were heard from them.
Guitarist, Adriel Garcia, announced a compilation of B-sides and unreleased demos titled Chariots & Riots to be funded
through Kickstarter with the original lineup. It was released through Garcia's Bandcamp page on December 13, 2013.
