Basement are an English melodic hardcore band formed in 2009 in Ipswich, England. The band is heavily influenced by early 90semotive
hardcore acts such as Sunny Day Real Estate and grunge acts such as Nirvana.
Following their This Is Goodbye tour in November 2012, the band entered a hiatus. On 29 January 2014, the band announced ina post on their
Facebook page that they would be reuniting.
