Anacrusis was one of the most unique progressive thrash bands of their time, which was from 1987 to 1994 roughly. One of thebiggest things thatmade them so unique was the vocal ability of Ken Nardi. He had the ability to sing in the lower harsherregisters as well as reach the high pitchedscreams that he used from time to time as well... and on top of that, he could sing aswell, but he didn't sing in the high pitched vocal style most thinkof when they hear "progressive". Another big part of theiruniqueness was the songs themselves which could rage, be technical as hell, and still carryemotion. The last thing worthmentioning would be the series of awesome drummers they had throughout their short career.
