A late 90s sugary boy band, 98 Degrees fell very much in the same vein as the Backstreet Boys or Nsync. They never received the same popular adolation, and with a rather weak catalogue the lack of massive success is understandable. They had some memorable singles, such as 'I Do (Cherish You)' and 'Because of You', but on the whole 98 Degrees were just another pop band with a few average songs to fill up airtime. Though the band broke up in early 2002, member Nick Lachey shot to fame thanks to his marriage to pop star Jessica Simpson and their popular MTV Show Newlyweds.
