Undying is a melodic metalcore band from Raleigh/Charlotte, North Carolina. They are considered one of the most important and influential bands in the melodic metalcore genre. Formed in 1997, their original singer Timothy Roy left in 2002 after being diagnosed with throat cancer, after which vocal duties were taken over by Logan White, who provided vocals until the band's initial dissolution in April of 2006. After the band's breakup, some of the members would go on to form Between the Buried and Me. Undying would reunite in December of 2022 for a benefit show along with the reunion of fellow North Carolinian contemporaries Prayer for Cleansing. They would later announce another reunion in August of 2023 supporting Earth Crisis for a November tour.
