Tony Grey, born in Newcastle, England in 1975, is a bassist, possibly most prominently known for playing with Hiromi Uehara. Whilst recovering from a nasty
car accident at the age of 18, Tony began playing the bass and successfully auditioned for the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Tony graduated from
Berklee with high honours in May 2001, picking up the prestigious Outstanding Performer Award along the way. His uncle also happens to be John
Mclaughlin.
