Tonic Breed is a one-man thrash metal project by Patrik K. Svendsen. Formed in Sarpsborg, Norway, Tonic Breed was a full pieced band of four musicians until 2019. As of 2022, the band has two full-length releases in the album catalog, Install Memory and Outsold. The EP, Fuel the Fire, is the first installment in the new era of the band. Recently singles have been released with musicians from bands such as Megadeth, Soilwork, and Kamelot.
Often described as part of the new wave of thrash metal, Tonic Breed includes heavy, groove, and melodic elements in their music. Nevertheless, thrash metal and groove metal have been the core of the band's foundation.
