Three Summers Strong are a Punk Rock band from Brighton, United Kingdom. Formed in early 2009,
the band started out as a solo acoustic project by Guitarist / Vocalist Mark Boniface (ex Red Scare
Crows). After meeting Bassist Jordon Dudeney at college, the two then formed an acoustic two piece
and went on to record the band first Demo titled ‘We Will Get There’! which was recorded and mixed
entirely by the two.
After a string of shows with Simon Betts of To Reach The Sun filling in on drums for them, they then

asked friend Calvern Van De Merwe to play drums in the band and the switch to a full electric band
was made. Switching the Acoustic sound for Electric. After a few weeks solid practice the band then
set work to recording their first Electric EP titled ‘If You Change The Way You Look At Things, The
Things You Look At Change…’. The EP was once again a DIY effort, with some small help from
friends. The band will be releasing the finished version of the record sometime in the first part of
2010 through their own record label, The EP is already streaming online through Last.fm and
BandCamp.
The bands sound is reminiscent of Americas bustling Punk Rock scene in Gainesville, Florida and
New Jersey and have been compared to bands such as The Draft, The Bouncing Souls, Polar Bear
Club and a healthy dose of your typical No Idea Records acts. « hide |
