The Wednesday Club is an amalgamation of sounds from three indie pop/indie rock singer/songwriters and their friends. The
group began as a home recording project in 2004, expanded to a touring ensemble in 2007, and retracted back to being a home
project in 2009. While The Wednesday Club currently keep from touring, they maintain a relatively busy writing and recording
schedule, having released at least one full-length album every two years since 2007's No, You Broke Jo's Amp!, including
March 2013's Passing Strange. The group claim that, though they often write songs independently, a common love of "the
absurd" and subject matters ranging from inebriated characters from Greek mythology to depressed astronauts.
