2007, The Swellers continue the process of bringinghigh-energy punk rock to all corners of the U.S. and the world.
Originally raised up in the Flint scene located in one of the more depressed areas of Michigan, their new breed of melodic and driving punk
rockincorporates pop sensibility, making listeners pump their fist, and belt the words to every hook. It is refreshingly honest and talented music.
Thecraftsmanship in song writing distinguishes The Swellers from the average punk rock crew. Two years after their national debut, The
Swellers unveil their first full length effort. As a more diverse and introspective collective of songs, My Everestrepresents a natural evolution in
their own unique sound with influences ranging from A Wilhelm Scream to Weezer. Discovering that there is more to punkrock than high speed
tempos, My Everest seeks to explore all musical boundaries. This record is equally hopeful as it is pessimistic. « hide |
