The Nation of Ulysses formed in 1988 as a highly conceptual punk band signed to Dischord that plays Fugazi-style post-hardcore. The band only lasted for about 4 years, releasing 2 full-lengths and an EP. Their previously unreleased The Embassy Tapes later surfaced in 2000.
