Formed after the breakup of the short-lived but highly influential Incognito Burrito, The Butts are an avant-garde/progressive band hailing from
Boston. While technically a band due to more than one person working on each track, there is only one consistent member of The Butts, who
goes by the name DJ Tanner. Longtime fans noted the near lack of hooks in The Butts' albums as compared to the famously catchy Incognito
Burrito. Also, the band stopped using as many synthesizers as before, instead relying on ambient noises, loops of Hitler speeches, and gargling
to create the new sound.
