Alternative radio stations began to dub The Butterfly Effect as the future of Modern/Hard Rock for Australian audiences, which was a statement most couldn't argue with. By the time the band had released their debut album, Begins Here in August 2003, the band had already developed a large, dedicated fan base, thanks largely to the reputation they earned with their impeccable live shows. In 2006 the band released their second studio album, Imago to critical acclaim, it debuted at No. 2 on the ARIA charts. The band toured relentlessly through the end of 2006 and 2007, before settling down to write and record their 3rd album. The Butterfly Effect's third album entitled Final Conversation of Kings will be released on the 20th of September 2008, and they will tour nationally in October. « hide
