As the band of which he was a founding member, yourcodenameis:milo go into indefinte hiatus, producer/songwriter Justin Lockey returns with his new project - The British Expeditionary Force. Named after the collective term for British troops sent to the Western front in World War I, The BEF (the band) combine ethereal soundscapes, sonorous guitars, fragile vocal and vocoder work, Lockey's now trademark sensitivity to drum sounds and Aid Burrows' inclement lyrics together to form something akin to My Bloody Valentine filtered through the best of Bran Eno, via the cold textures of Sigur Ros.
