The band Sunrise was founded in Kiev (Ukraine) in 2003, by Konstantin Naumenko (vocals) and Vitaliy Petrichenko (guitar).
The subject of texts touches questions of self-realization and self-knowledge of the individual, searching for the meaning of
life and spiritual development, as well as lyrical reflections on love and mutual relations between people. The melodic
constructions of the songs are capable of inducing the whole scale of feelings that are included within the lyrics.

On February, 2007, Sunrise finished recording their debut album, called "Liberty", which was released by Metalism Records.
In the autumn of 2009, Sunrise finished recording their second album, called "Trust Your Soul". This album was released on
the 30th of January 2010 by Italian label Heart Of Steel Records/Emmeciesse Music Publishing, and it received many good
ratings from the world's musical critics.
On November of 2009, the internet-single "Dreamer Online" was released and downloaded by thousands of fans all over the
world.
Right now [2010] the band is working on the material for the third album, which will become a big step of musical
development of the band.

The band released a single by the name of "Hope And Pray" by 2011 as an internet-release, and re-released it as an EP in
2013 as a collectors' item (only a hundred copies have been printed).
