known as [sub]verso. The next incarnation of [sub]verso saw the departure of Brian Paul in the summer of 2008, and saw the
arrival of drummer Ian Quincy Young shortly thereafter. With the line-up of Ryan, Derrik, and Ian, the band released their
"Existence on the Shelf" extended play. Derrik remained a member of the band for a short while longer to release "Anxiety's
Fragile Thoughts," which featured Brian Abraham Grochowski as a session member. At the time of his departure in April 2009,
Derrik was replaced by Grochowski as a full-time member. Upon reaching the autumn of 2009, the band expanded to a four-
piece with the addition of José Oyola on bass, simultaneously changing their name to SubVerso and releasing the "Within the
Hour" extended play. The quartet continued to play until the summer of 2010, when they ultimately decided to split. Nearly two
years later, SubVerso reformed as SubVerso with their original line-up only to see the departure of Derrik once more. For much
of 2012, Sub Verso was a three-piece featuring Kalentkowski, Grochowski, and Young. While originally labeled as being a
temporary member, bassist Marco Vernacatola was added to the band in the summer of 2012 while the band released their first
extended play in two years entitled "Humble Moons". Currently, the band is recording their debut album, set to be release at
some point in 2013. « hide |
