Son of Sam, a side project led by Todd Youth in 2000, included the bassist Steve Zing and drummer London May from the Samhain line-up. Todd, while filling in for the absent Pete Marshall on the Samhain reunion tour in 2000, was inspired to write an album that was based of the Samhain influence. Davey Havok was asked to do the vocals. Glenn Danzig also filled in with some guitar on two tracks. Claimed as a one time spin-off, there are still rumors that there will be another album.
