Powerhouse Christian Älvestam has yet again created a new project that pleases many melodic death metal fans around theworld. Essentially,Solution .45 is a supergroup comprised of members of Essence of Sorrow, Miseration, and The Few AgainstMany. The Swedish band began asan idea in late 2007 and a new album - For Aeons Past - was released April 9, 2010. Withcollaborations with the likes of Mikael Stanne of DarkTranquillity and others, S.45 is an amalgamation of death metal riffs,driving keys, and vocals that could only be performed by Älvestam: ear-shattering growls and soothing clean verses.
