She then earned a full tuition university scholarship in music and toured the Eastern U.S. with a university-sponsored band. In 2009, an artist development contract brought her from the Rocky Mountains to Nashville. Opportunities opened on Music Row and, in 2010 Shannons first cut as an independent artist, her song Calls Me Home, aired on the CW networks One Tree Hill. Since then, her second cut Sweet Mystery, has aired and several ather songs she has written have been put on hold in various television and country music venues. I write in many different styles, Shannon says, but living and working in Nashville has made me fall in love with country music. Her band LaBrie showcases Shannons unique vocal style with rich melodies, memorable stories, and a combination of jazz, blues, and of course soulful country. « hide
